TOPICAL TREATMENTS
A variety of topical treatments (creams, etc) are available for treating acne. Because there are so many options, treatment is highly customizable so that each patient can achieve their desired results. While not as effective as oral treatments for acne, many patients with mild acne are satisfied with topical treatments.
ORAL TREATMENTS
Whenever you have acne, it is important to get to your dermatologist as soon as possible. The sooner you get treatment, the better chance we have to prevent future scarring and get your acne under control. We offer a variety of oral treatments (pills) that can help bring your acne under control.
SCAR TREATMENTS
While the best scar treatment is prevention with appropriate therapy, there are still a variety of scar treatment options available for acne patients ranging from creams and peels to simple in-office procedures.
